Launching New Health Benefit Coverage, Mitrais: The Employees’ Mental Health is Our Valuable Wealth

Life befriending the pandemic has affected the world and all its aspects of life. According to the Covid-19 Task Force, 80% of psychological problems have emerged due to the pandemic. Since mental health care is one of the keys to survival, Mitrais takes it seriously. In addition to the routine “How are you call” to check on the employees’ well-being during WFH, Mitrais launched a new medical care under the company’s health benefit coverage, namely Psychotherapy Treatment, in February 2021 as part of its commitment to supporting the staff’ psychological well-being.

Through this facility, Mitrais proudly breaks the stigma of treating mental health and encourages its employees to seek professional help in mental health care. Some may argue that generic methods such as working out, having a balanced diet, or grounding activities like meditation can maintain our healthy mind. However, mental health looks and feels different to everyone. As a result, treatments must be specially crafted to meet the needs of each individual.

There are two types of treatments that Mitrais employees can access: counselling with a psychologist and medication prescription from a psychiatrist. Employees are free to book sessions with their trusted professional psychologist and psychiatrist to address their mental health issues. Additionally, for the sake of the employees’ privacy, Mitrais require no medical record to claim this benefit; staff only need to submit their medical receipts for expenses reimbursement.

The Talent Partner team encourages Mitrais staff to use this psychotherapy treatment benefit to their advantage, because being mentally healthy enables us to perform our best, both in professional and personal life.

As the saying goes: “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” Take care of yourself first, physically, and most importantly, mentally, before you take care of others. Therefore, from now on, fill our cup and keep it full.
