Mitrais Today
Recently, the company commemorated its 32nd anniversary on 25 August 2023. Established in 1991 to offer IT solutions to the industry, today, the business has become a leading IT company in the region with four offices in Indonesia. Empowered by nearly 700 staff, Mitrais has served more than 610 clients for over three decades. Truly, it’s a long milestone worth of grand celebration.
Grow with Mitrais
Acknowledging that it is a shared achievement, Mitrais celebrated its anniversary with a special theme: Grow with Mitrais. Through the theme, the company wished to express a profound appreciation to the dedicated, hard-working, and innovative staff that made the success possible. In her speech, Wiwie Harris, the President Director of Mitrais, warmly congratulated all involved, “Happy anniversary, Mitrais. Our appreciation to our employees, clients, and partners for growing together with us.”
A Party for All
What’s an anniversary without a party? Mitrais threw a lit party in each office, going all out – blowing candles, cutting a cake, hitting the dance floor, singing their hearts out, and, of course, devouring delish catering. During the anniversary, everyone was vibing in a fun atmosphere and shared anecdotes that brought everyone closer. To add to the sense of belonging and unity, on this anniversary, Mitrais also launched the “M” hand sign to be showcased in group photos or videos.
Spiraling Down the Memory Lane
Before all the party frenzies, everyone was already carried away by the opening speeches from the executives that highlighted memorable stories, values, and moments that strengthened the resilience to stand the test of time. Needless to say, the behind-the-scenes fostered the pride of a strong culture and excellence in everyone. It also planted a seed of a refreshed commitment to strive and grow together.
Wall of Wishes
Threads of cards with fairy light foliage decorated offices’ walls, displaying heartfelt anniversary wishes from the staff for Mitrais. This time they got the chance to compete in expressing the best anniversary wishes, and those that hit the jackpot were wishes that implied the growing together theme.
Untari Sari Gading, who rejoined Mitrais in 2019, poured her gratitude on the card, writing, “You’re proof that an ex isn’t always bad and getting back together is a good thing too. Happiest birthday, Mitrais. Cheers to a fabulous year ahead!”
Another sparkly wish from Cinthya Kusumadewi read, “Happy 32nd Anniversary Mitrais! Congratulations! It still feels like yesterday when I first stepped into Mitrais Jogja Office 9 years ago. ‘Will I survive in this company?’ ‘How long will I work for this company?’ ‘Can I meet the client’s expectations?’ Those questions popped up in my head at that time. But here I am, celebrating Mitrais’ 32nd anniversary. Hopefully, Mitrais will continue the business for a long time, grow more clients, and also give the best for their employees.”
Uniquely, some staff also wrote that they were smitten to stumble upon the love of their life in this company, got married, and now raising a happy family. It is a cherished feeling that radiates from each card’s wish.
Mitrais-themed Costume Challenge
In addition to the wish competition, the anniversary party also featured a door prize lucky draw and a Mitrais-themed costume contest. It was a challenge to be creative with Mitrais t-shirts or anything that has Mitrais references, like the colour purple. Sulthony Hartanto, one of the challenge winners, rocked his Mitrais first-ever-launched t-shirt from over 15 years ago. His timeless outfit, of course, brought nostalgia to the party. Meanwhile, Dhinny Andriany was giving a Barbie vibe by accessorizing the long-service t-shirt collection that made her stand out from the crowd. With her styling, she wanted to celebrate women’s equality in Mitrais while having fun on the anniversary.
