Over the last few years, there has been a significant increase in demand and recruitment resulting in a significant growth in the Mitrais family. With this has come the need for more work space for our team, particularly in our Bandung and Yogyakarta offices. As well as expanding available space, feedback from the staff showed that it was time for us to freshen up the office by upgrading the interior design. In response, Mitrais has launched a refresh of both offices in 2019.

With this expansion, approximately 300 staff can be accommodated in both Bandung and Yogyakarta Offices, and the office now have a more modern look and approach dubbed “Agile”. Agile aims to provide an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and communication both among teammates and cross-teams, and this new look also reduces stress and anxiety. The goal is to incorporate industrial, rustic, and green concepts to improve productivity and positive energy.

The redesign has provided a more flexible shared place, adding standing tables and bean bags as an alternative to traditional workstations. The refresh seems to have rejuvenated staff as well. It includes a playground for Tamiya’s track, Billiards, Table Tennis, a Carom Board, PES, and other facilities so irresistible that staff gravitate there during breaks. They mingle there, playing games during their downtime, and this area can also accommodate events where a larger space is needed, such as Happy Hours, the Innovathon or Town Hall Meetings.

These upgrades certainly wouldn’t have happened without the input from the staff and the huge support from the management, so many thanks to everyone involved in realising these great improvements.
