Mining companies need to keep their eyes on future growth plans, and that means continuously improving productivity.

Chasing big production numbers does not always mean spending more on the operational budget. Taking full advantage of technological advancements can be a big part of the solution, and Mitrais knows what it takes to improve mine productivity.

Focussed on mine productivity improvements, Mitrais held its first event in 2017, a seminar titled Improve Your Productivity with Integrated Mine Scheduling and Haulage. This seminar was designed to help mining professionals make the best use of mining software to improve all aspects of productivity.

Mitrais introduced the idea of using integrated mine scheduling and haulage to optimize haulage routes used in open pit mining. Improved reporting is a great benefit, as simple and informative reports can yield huge advantages in future planning. The new reporting system can display progress in attractive and interactive 3D graphics.

Heading the seminar participants was Mitrais’ Sales Manager, Aditya Ari Marindra, who was joined by Mining Consultant, Putu Tanty Astari. There were also guest speakers (Heru Hernowo from PT Indominco Mandiri and Banu Kurniawan from PT Borneo Indobara) invited to share their experiences in using this advanced technological for productivity improvement.

Mitrais VP Products, She Kun, and Sales Manager, Ida Farida, were also present to greet all participants who attended the seminar at Le Grandeur Hotel, Balikpapan on 19 April 2017.

With a day full of discussions on how to improve mine productivity to obtain more potential in the mining industry, attending professionals also had an opportunity for networking and socializing.
