Unveiling How To Determine Standby Time per Equipment

When performing auto scheduling, you may often find standby equipment due to the inputted dependency/ constraint settings.
Did you know that equipment availability data, along with the corresponding amounts, can be displayed and exported in Excel format? By knowing the standby time, the scheduling scenario can be reassembled to optimize the results.

1) On the Processes menu, Add 1 Nonproductive Process (Example: rename it to Waiting Block).

2) Fill Inactive Process for each equipment with Nonproductive Process, then Run Scenario.

3) Open Schedule menu, Filter on Process tab for Nonproductive Process.

4) After being filtered, Export the result to Excel format.

5) The result of Nonproductive Process can be filtered based on the equipment and start date to choose the period.

6) Here is the example of filtered result. Calendar Hours contains the total of standby time.
