Mitrais has forged deeper ties with the Indonesian universities through its latest MoU with Padjadjaran University. The MoU covers cooperation in terms of education, research and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The signing of the MoU has been conducted at the Padjadjaran University campus at Jatinangor, West Java on Thursday, 29th of March 2018, between Prof Tri Hanggono Achmad, the Rector of Padjadjaran University and She Kun, the Vice President SW Product of Mitrais.
The cooperation is in line with Mitrais’ vision and mission, with particular interest in education and knowledge sharing, according to She Kun.
“We are honoured to be able to work together with Padjadjaran University. It is our hope that through this cooperation, the students could be more prepared to face the demands in the actual work place,” She Kun said.
The Rector of Padjadjaran University, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, hoped that Mitrais can support the university’s commitment in developing the student not only could be more prepared to face the demands in the actual work place but also in environmental conservation, so that in its effort to explore the country’s natural resources, the approach would be towards conservation rather than exploitation. With this cooperation, the university hoped to contribute to strengthen the conservation aspect of the application. The Dean of FTG, Dr. Vijaya Isnaniawardhani, Ir., MT said that the cooperation will contribute towards the three main purposes (tridarma) of the university, including to develop geo-informatics learning at FTG of Padjadjaran University. “It can hopefully add to our source of resources,” said Dr. Vijaya.
