As we proudly marked our 34th anniversary, we reflected not only on the milestones Mitrais has achieved but on the meaningful ways to celebrate them. This year, in gratitude for our milestones and the unyielding support of our clients and partners, we chose to give back in a meaningful way that echoes our values.  

One Drop, A Lifetime of Hope 

As part of our 34th anniversary festivities, Mitrais organised a blood donation campaign themed “One Drop, A Lifetime of Hope.” Collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross, Mitrais hosted a blood donation drive across our three offices in Indonesia: Bandung on 12 August, while Yogyakarta and Bali offices held the drive on 20 August 2025.  

It was more than just a health initiative; it was a powerful reminder that every drop can be a lifeline. This not only contributes to the health benefits of the wider community but also cultivates a sense of fulfilment in our employees, reinforcing well-being as part of our shared journey. 

The goal was simple yet profound: to inspire as many people as possible to contribute to saving lives by donating blood. It was a platform for kindness, compassion, and community involvement.  

Unity in Hope  

The thought of donating blood can evoke mixed feelings in anyone. “I’m helping to save lives, but what if it hurts?”, “Is it safe?” or the common, daunting thought: “I can’t handle needles.” 

However, driven by a deep sense of purpose, Mitrais’ staff, alums, and even their families enthusiastically stepped forward to make the drive a remarkable success. It was a heartwarming sight—colleagues and friends coming together, smiling, encouraging one another. They knew; they did not just give blood; they were offering hope.  

The staff from Red Cross Indonesia were very friendly and accommodating, helping donors go through a smooth, rigorous screening process to ensure safety for both donors and potential recipients, drawing them closer to a beautiful act of giving. As they reclined, the needle became the bridge between them and a stranger whose life they may one day save.  

When it was done, the relieved donors rested in the recovery area. They carried not just a bandage, but the quiet pride of someone who chose compassion. While resting, they engaged in light-hearted conversations and enjoyed rejuvenating snacks and milk provided generously by Mitrais. 

The drive results spoke volumes: almost a hundred bags were collected; each one a potential lifesaver for patients undergoing treatment or surgery. 

Remarks from the Participants  

Some participants shared their impressions on the selfless act of giving. 

“It was truly fulfilling, and I hope it can become an annual program,”
said Ahmad Ardiyanto, a Programmer.

Cahyo Tri Broto, a Tester, also conveyed his excitement.
“After the pandemic, it felt great to donate blood again. The event was excellent, I hope it can be held more often.”

Aldino Suprima, a senior Tester, expressed his gratitude for the blood drive,
“It was rewarding, and I’m glad it was finally organised. I had requested a blood donation event at Mitrais before, and I’m happy it came true”

Meanwhile, Gusti Putu Kompiang, the director of Mitrais, revealed the underlying spirit of having the altruistic act as part of the anniversary celebration,
“Technology may be our craft, but humanity is our core. Mitrais’ 34th anniversary blood donation initiative reflects our ongoing mission to create impact that reaches far beyond code”

As we celebrate 34 years of innovation, growth, and collaboration, we are reminded that the most meaningful milestones are those we share with others. Making a positive impact through initiatives like this is one of the most meaningful ways to mark the occasion.
