Kartini Hospital, a newly established 100-bed hospital located 90km from Jakarta, has made the most of its partnership with Mitrais to implement the newest Ksatria Medical Systems (KMS). Having already established themselves as a distinctly modern medical centre, hospital management were keen to back up that reputation by working with the best technologists – Mitrais was a natural fit.
Kartini Hospital was looking for a superior Patient Administration System working hand-in-hand with a Finance solution to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end business process and allow smooth integration with the Indonesian Government’s Social Security/Health Insurance System (known as BPJS).
The aim was to improve all aspects of data capture, track all transactions in detail, and reduce errors and undocumented procedures and charges. With KMS, staff and management now have access to fast and accurate transactional and management reports, allowing them to better control costs, improve their ROI and achieve the break-even point faster.
While such a large and aspirational project would typically take months (or even years) to implement, Mitrais’ highly skilled and experienced implementation team had a huge advantage – Mitrais’ own rapid implementation approach.
Leveraging the world-class KMS system as a base, and using this approach in concert with intensive Role-Based Training (RBT) of RS Kartini staff, the systems were in and running in a record-breaking 6 weeks, instantly increasing productivity within the facility. RBT, and strong commitment from the hospital management and project team, allows Mitrais to bring hospital staff up to speed on the new systems much faster than traditional methods, ensuring that the incoming applications are well understood and accepted by staff before go-live.
It’s no surprise that hospital management are delighted that Mitrais was more than able to achieve the project’s very aggressive target dates, and that they are extremely satisfied with the results.
As dr. Noor Yulia, Director of Kartini Hospital, said, “Mitrais did a great job under considerable pressure to deliver the solution within our tight timeframes. Obviously, efficient patient administration and financial controls are keys to our delivering successful outcomes for the hospital, and it is pleasing to see that Mitrais both understood and responded to the challenges. In our view, Mitrais has certainly lived up to its reputation as a world-class partner in this space, and we look forward to continuing to work with them going forward.”
Mitrais is excited to have proven the worth of its ground-breaking rapid implementation and training processes on an important project such as Kartini Hospital, and pleased that Kartini management are so happy with the results.
