Its first product, Inventory Optimizer was released in 1992, while Procurement Strategizer came later in 2001 and further products are in the development stages. Oniqua has achieved an impressive blue-chip client base throughout Australia and South East Asia with the broader international market constantly expanding. Oniqua now serves more than 50 per cent of Australia's mining market.
Oniqua's value proposition to its customers is the proven capability to deliver savings of millions of dollars. For example BHP Coal used Inventory Optimizer to reduce their inventory by $13 million in two years.
Oniqua has a strong focus on its partnership program. In 1999 Oniqua established a global alliance with Mincom, a major Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software vendor. By 2000 regional alliances had also been established with, PTMI (Asia), AST (South Africa) and Auslang International (EAM cataloguing specialists, Australia).
