MITRAIS BUILDS NEW LICENSE KIOSK SYSTEM FOR DATAMINE
12 June 2006

Mitrais, the Australian controlled software developer based in Bali has recently completed development of a new Licence Kiosk System for The Datamine Group, the world's leading mining technology vendor.

Written in the Microsoft .Net Framework, the Kiosk System manages Datamine's customer product license and maintenance records and dispenses license keys for customers when they purchase a Datamine system or pay their annual maintenance fees. The system is hosted in the UK and accessed from Datamine offices over a secure link to provide Datamine employees with up-to-date customer information and accurately configured license keys.

Datamine CEO Nick Beaton said "With the growth in our business it became necessary to provide a fully automated system to our offices around the world to generate license keys. As a bonus the License Kiosk System also allows us to implement the enhancements we have made recently to our network licensing system. It provides customers with greater flexibility for making the software available to users while protecting the IP from inappropriate use. We now have a comprehensive system for ensuring the customer's investment is utilised to the maximum while the IP is secured."

Mitrais CEO David Magson said, "We are very happy to have been the driving force in this development. A secure licensing system is very important to every software developer and it has been an excellent opportunity for Mitrais to be part of such a sophisticated development."

Mr. Beaton said selecting Mitrais to develop the new Datamine License Kiosk System had been a very carefully researched decision. "We were very particular about engaging a company we had confidence in to deliver a system that is very secure."

"This was a truly global project. Our head office is in the UK, our offices are in every mining region in the world and the project manager lives in Australia. Mitrais, with its Australian management, deep background knowledge of mining and handy location in Bali has proved to be an excellent choice," he said.
