MITRAIS SIGNS NEW MINESCAPE CLIENTS
05 April 2006
Mitrais, a leading Indonesian outsourcing software and services company, has signed three new coal mining clients for its much admired Mincom MineScape solution.
Announcing the new client acquisitions today Mitrais Vice President of Mining Solutions, Rob Nicholas, said the latest sign-ons confirmed MineScape as the preeminent software solution for Indonesia's coal mining industry.
"Quite simply, MineScape has become the Indonesian coal mining standard and the preferred solution of choice for nine out of ten Indonesian coal miners," Nicholas said. The new customers bring to 40 the number of MineScape users now with Mitrais.
The new sign ups for Mitrais are Teguh Sinar Abadi, an open cut coal miner based in Melak, West Kutai, East Kalimantan and Bhakti Energi Persada, a subsidiary of Persada Kapital Group, the holding company of Dianlia Setya Mukti. It also serves as a mining service company for their group. The latest sign up of MineScape is Bokormas Wahana Makmur, a mining contractor from Batulicin, South Kalimantan.
Nicholas said Mitrais' end-to-end mining solutions have successfully supported clients at far flung, remote and difficult sites throughout the Indonesian archipelago for many years.
"Now this wealth of mining industry knowledge has now been harnessed by Mitrais to produce two exciting medical information systems specifically designed for hospitals based in remote areas of Indonesia such as mining sites," he said.
"The first is called mI-Health, an affordable, high quality software package designed to integrate all points of care within a hospital with its operational and financial systems.
The second is K-MS, a fully integrated solution for remote hospital management which interfaces with existing ERP Finance, HR and Materials Management systems to better facilitate employee medical examinations, compensation claims, recruitment and hospital hygiene.
"Both these new medical systems from Mitrais have sparked considerable interest within the Indonesian hospital industry with several sites now in the process of implementation," Nicholas said.
Established in 1991, Mitrais, formerly known as Mincom Indoservices, is a leading Indonesian outsourcing software and services solutions provider with offices in Bali, Jakarta and Singapore employing approximately 200 staff.
